The Structure

The Company’s current management structure comprises of an owner who fills the position of Director. The company has 4 divisions – Engineering, chassis straightening and Spray-painting units – We have 4 team leaders in place who cover these units. We also have a Workshop Manager who oversees the operations of all these units. These 6 staff members comprise the management team of the business.

DAROZ Components & Accessories CC (DAROZ) was established in 2004 by managing director, Darryl Petersen. The company was originally based at 72 CB Downes Road, Pietermaritzburg.

DAROZ relocated in September 2014 to 17 Bulman Road, Mkondeni, a strategic location situated in Pietermaritzburg's industrial hub. DAROZ is entirely South African and boasts a Level 1 BBBEE rating.

Over the past decade, DAROZ has managed to sustain successful business relations with large corporate clients whilst still providing exceptional service to smaller,individual clients.

 

Services

At DAROZ there are four main areas of service :

1) Chassis Straightening

2) Conversions (Modifications according to design)

3) Building of truck bodies and trailers, tankers, flat decks, tippers and roll-backs

4) Repairs and maintenance

 

Operations

The company comprises 2 business units consisting of an engineering / manufacturing component and a repairs and maintenance component.
